Marvel at the dramatically stunning architecture emerging along the coastline, and bask in the serenity of the sacred geometric art-deco that outfits the mosque walls from head to toe. Enjoy free time to explore Casablanca for the rest of day, until jet setting to the dunes of the Saharan desert. After a quick evening flight to the city of Errachidia, head over to your hotel in Erfoud to end the night with a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Starry Night Adventures in a Desert Dreamland - Merzouga

Arrive at the far away lands of the Saharan Desert, as you enter through the eastern gateway city of Merzouga. Dive right in by exploring the rich & authentic culture of the Rissani market. An ancient trading crossroads to discover all kinds of goods. . including exotic spices, handmade artisan crafts, traditional clothing, and even naturopathic healers. For lunch, head over to the Berber village of Khamliya where you’ll feast like a desert nomad with a local delicacy called Medfouna. It’s the Berber’s version of pizza. . . topped with fresh-picked mushrooms, juicy grilled steak, gouda cheese, sautéed onions, and more! After this delicious treat, saddle up on camelback to meander through the desert dunes until reaching a secluded campground. Huddle up around the campfire for dinner as traditional musicians serenade your soul with mesmerizing desert sounds. Take in the expansive sensations as you gaze into the incredible starry night sky before resting in the comfort of a private luxury dream tent.

Journey through the High Atlas Mountains & Lush Valleys -Todra Gorge & Ouarzazate

After awakening to a magical sunrise illuminating the desert dunes, the journey continues to the heights of the Atlas Mountains. The first stop after lunch is the hidden gem of Todra Gorge. Bear witness to the dramatic scenery of the steep rocky canyons giving way to a lush valley oasis down below. Walk along the meandering Todra River as you soak in the grandiose of nature's beauty. After exploring the prehistoric canyons, head over to the province of Ouarzazate to settle in for candlelight dinner overlooking the charming, mud-fortified village of Kabash Ait-Ben-Haddou.

Wander the ancient architectural beauty of Morocco's UNESCO World Heritage Site. Feel as if you traveled back through time as you explore the alleyways of this fortified city dating back to the 11th century. Known to the locals as a ksar, this impressive castle-like city is entirely constructed of brownish-red earthen clay. Deja vu may strike you. . .as many cinematic masterpieces were filmed here. Including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Prince of Persia, and many more. Open yourself up to a whole new perspective as you peer through doorways with dreamy views of lush valleys and snowy mountain peaks out in the distance. As the day comes to an end, make your way through the winding mountain pass of Tizi n’Tichka towards the red city of Marrakech. 

Immerse in the Colorful Culture of Marrakech

A change of scenery awaits as you enter the charm of the red city of Marrakech. After breakfast, head out for a thrilling cultural experience through the medina. Stroll through the dazzling bazaars lining the narrow streets and ancient walls with bursts of color. Get an inside look at the humble lives of local artisans from blacksmiths to leather dyers to animated musicians and acrobats. First stop is the iconic Koutoubia Mosque.  Get an up-close look at its 250 ft. majestic tower visible from almost anywhere in the city.  Then pass through the Bahia Palace sprawling out over 2 acres. Explore the 150 rooms decorated with mesmerizing mosaics and elegant Moroccan decor throughout. And of course, your journey wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square.
